Installation

All worktops arrive in either 1, 2 or 3 meter long lengths , these are as simple to install as any off the shelf worktop, including cutting out holes for taps and sinks, abutting up to wall, mitring corners or joining together. The tops comprise of the 1mm thick metal surface over a 28mm deep timber substrate which can be drilled and cut using standard carpentry tools, much like a standard laminate kitchen worktop.

Work Surface Sections

Adjoining sections: We recommend that sections are simply abutted together this can be left naturally as an abutment join or mastic sealed, depending on preference.

End sections: If the space in the kitchen does not allow for a full length of worktop and it needs to be cut, an end piece can be supplied with matching fixings to conceal the exposed cut section. The same covering strips may be required in the event of the worktop being over an under mounted sink, these can be supplied upon request.

Mitred corners: Standard 90 degree corner sections can be supplied, in the event that a corner is an unusual angle the tops can be cut and mitred at the required angle and a covering strip can be supplied upon request.
